The Lowell boys cross-country team finished last week with a second place and a first place under their belts.
The Red Arrows finished second at the first OK White Jamboree last Tuesday. Winning the race was Caleb Swart with a time of 16.48. Completing the score for Lowell was Lucas Cossar placing eighth with a time of 17.30; Ben Kinnucan placing tenth with a time of 17.36; Cole Westen placing sixth with a score of 17.59 and Sawyer Fowler 17th with a time of 17.59.
The harriers competed in the Bredeweg Invite at West Ottawa on Saturday and took home first place with 81 points. Medaling in the top twenty for the Red Arrows were: Swart, fifth place with a time of 16.30; Kinnucan, 11th with a time of 17.03 and Cossar 13th with a time of 17.05. Completing the score were Cole Weston, placing 24th with a time of 17.30 and Fowler placing 28th with a time of 17.36. Finishing the varsity race were Keegan Cater, 43rd with a time of 17.54 and John Lothian, 55th with a time of 18.15.
The JV boys team won the JV race with 69 points. Scoring were Jackson Fowler, fourth place with a time of 18.22, Nigel Mika, sixth place with 18.33, Ben Bromley, seventh with 18.37, Levi Mills 15th with 18.54 and Zach Swart, 38th with 19.30. Lowell will travel to compete in the Sparta Invite on Saturday, Sept. 14.
